Electrocoagulation waste water treatment equipment intruduction:
Electrocoagulation method (waste) water treatment equipment is water treatment equipment. It uses principle of electrolysis and coagulation, to make multiple physical and chemical effects towards pollution (waste) water pollutants in the redox, neutralization, condensation, air separation and other, which rapid completion of sewage (waste) water treatment. With advantages of easy maintenance, high degree of automation, automatic plate cleaning, processing efficiency and stability, small workplace, high processing speed and so on.

Electric flocculation waste water treatment make using of aluminum or iron anodic dissolution, make water pollutants particles gathered into groups then sedimentation or air separation.
Electrocoagulation waste water treatment has the advantages of high efficiency, small amount of mud and easy solid-liquid separation, no need of external chemical, less secondary pollution, equipment operation simple control and maintenance, easy automatic control and final total dissolved (TDS). Now electrocoagulation waste water treatment become an effective way to deal with inorganic and organic wastewater, such as heavy metals, fluoride ions and dyes.

Electric flocculation technology has a long history, in 1889 London first built electric flocculation treatment of seawater and electrolytic waste workshop. In 1906, the electric flocculation technology was first patented by the German A. E. Dietrich in the United States and used for the treatment of the ship’s sewage. Due to early electrocoagulation technology level is low, high energy consumption, less waste treatment, so in the future for a long time has not been widely used. In recent years, with the increasing complexity of industrial waste water types and the demand for small and high efficiency wastewater treatment equipment, electrocoagulation technology has become a research hotspot.
Among them, the in-situ formation of flocculant and its flocculation mechanism are analyzed in detail, the influence mechanism of various factors on flocculation efficiency and electrode polarization and passivation, the attempt of electrocoagulation for more types of wastewater treatment, and the electrocoagulation technique electric float, such as material and chemical technology to improve the overall efficiency of treatment and other areas of the main research direction.

Electrocoagulation Power Supply on electric field effect:

At present, the method of effectively suppressing plate passivation is to replace the DC current with pulse current power supply and reduce the electrolytic polarization. The intermittent period of pulse current can cause the electrolyzed metal ions to react fully with OH- in the water to form a flocculant, and with the water out of the electrode area, thereby reducing the metal ion oxidation film probability. Substrate commutation can periodically change the direction of polarization, damage the fixed polarization region and effectively inhibit the passivation.
